Engagement

Weaves

Five shapes for working together. Each step offset further right — like swatches laid along a table edge.

A marketing lead arrives with a launch date already in the calendar and a folder of half-finished assets. The brief problem is timing: structure must arrive before production, not after. Weaves names the five engagement shapes we offer so you can match format to urgency, team capacity and internal politics.

Campaign sprint

A focused four-to-six week engagement for one launch or one seasonal programme. We enter with your existing materials — decks, past ads, website copy — and exit with a campaign spine, channel plan and creative direction pack ready for production partners.

Sprints suit teams who know the launch date and need structure fast. Weekly working sessions at the studio or by video; async document review between meetings. A typical sprint includes three critique sessions and two rounds of written deliverables.

Written deliverable: campaign architecture document, channel sequencing chart, creative direction pack

Studio retainer

Ongoing access for marketing leads who need senior review throughout the year. Monthly critique sessions, async proof marking and brief annotation when new projects land.

Retainers suit in-house teams with production capacity but without a senior strategist on staff. We do not replace your agency-of-record — we sharpen the briefs you send them.

Written deliverable: monthly critique notes, revised brief annotations, channel mix recommendations

Launch programme

A twelve-to-sixteen week engagement covering architecture through launch week communications. For companies entering a new market or releasing a major product line where multiple channels must align.

We stay through launch week itself — not to run ads, but to hold the message hierarchy while channels go live and internal teams coordinate.

Written deliverable: full campaign system, content calendar, launch checklist with owner assignments

Advisory sessions

Single half-day or full-day sessions for specific decisions: repositioning before a rebrand, channel mix before a media plan, or narrative audit before a funding round communications push.

No ongoing commitment. You arrive with materials; you leave with marked documents and a written summary of decisions made in the room.

Written deliverable: session summary, marked proofs, decision log

Courtyard intensive

A half-day working session in our rear courtyard for leadership teams who need alignment before a major campaign. Detailed format on the Courtyard page.

Intensives suit founding teams and department heads who disagree on message priority. The courtyard removes the boardroom tone and forces plain language.

Written deliverable: alignment document, agreed message hierarchy, next-step brief

Choosing a weave

Most first conversations start with a campaign sprint or an advisory session. Retainers follow once we have worked together and your team knows how we mark proofs.

Scope, timeline and deliverables are agreed in writing before work begins. We do not quote figures on this site — that conversation happens after we read your brief.

Each engagement shape has a named written output.

Disciplines covered in each shape are listed on Loomwork. To begin, visit the Doorbell page.

Every weave begins with a written scope document. That document names who attends sessions, which materials you provide beforehand, and what sign-off looks like at each stage. We do not start critique until scope is agreed — it protects your time and ours.

Most clients return for a second engagement once they have seen how the written deliverables travel inside their organisation. The campaign spine becomes the reference point for quarterly reviews, new product launches and agency briefings alike.

Advisory sessions suit a single decision — repositioning before a rebrand, or channel mix before a media plan. Courtyard intensives suit leadership teams who need alignment in one room. Studio retainers suit ongoing proof review across the year.
